Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications supporting agency operations. This role focuses on building high-quality, scalable solutions using modern development practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology solutions.
You will work closely with Business Analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business needs into robust applications while ensuring compliance with agency and state requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications across platforms including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine functional requirements
Perform deep-dive analysis and reverse engineering of existing systems to implement enhancements and fixes
Participate in full SDLC activities including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment
Ensure applications comply with regulatory, statutory, and technical standards
Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specifications
Support and optimize application development and testing environments
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovation
Required Experience & Skills
Strong experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and administration
Proven experience with MuleSoft integrations
Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
Experience working in Agile environments with version control best practices
Ability to analyze, refactor, and redesign existing systems for improved performance and scalability
Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
API development and integration expertise
Prior experience working with government or public sector organizations
Strong documentation and presentation skills
