🔹 Job Summary
The State of Arizona is seeking a skilled Mendix Application Architect / Low-Code Developer to support a high-visibility, time-sensitive application development initiative. This role will focus on designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather requirements and define system design
- Develop and configure applications using Mendix (microflows, nanoflows, domain models, UI pages)
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Analyze current business processes and design future-state workflows
- Create documentation including process flows, business rules, and system design artifacts
- Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support QA activities
- Perform data validation and ensure application quality and performance
- Support pre-production and go-live activities, resolving defects as needed
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners
- Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and leadership
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Low-Code/No-Code (LC/NC) platforms (must be on resume)
- Strong experience with Mendix (preferred) or OutSystems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency with JIRA for backlog and defect tracking
- Strong experience with SQL Server / SQL databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

- Experience with PCI compliance standards
- Familiarity with automated testing tools
- Experience in public sector/government projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
