Harry's New Website, Book, & Upcoming Retirement

Dear Friends of Harry,

As some of you have already discovered, we have been working on a new website for Harry

and are in the process of getting up the long-awaited student area. Amy Crews just sent a photo of Harry with several students from 1986 which I posted there. 

Harry is planning on retiring in December 2009. He has already let me know he does not want a retirement party.  So I guess the only other alternative is to give him his send off virtually.  I will begin adding your letters to the site.  If any of you have photographs you would like me to post, please just email them to me. Once I post them you will be able to comment in the photo areas. I know Harry would love to have photos of each of you as you were then & are now, with family, next to your paintings, etc.

Some of the letters you all wrote for Harry were submitted for the art award nomination but I will put them on the site anyway. They are all such great letters!

Also we are in the final stages of Harry's book. You can sign up on the website to reserve a copy if you like. 

It's been a fulfilling lot of years teaching for Harry and I know he will feel a huge void when he stops teaching.  But memories of your accomplishments and development as fine artists will fill him to the brim.
