| | You are invited to join Virginia's conservation community for our annual General Assembly Preview on Saturday, December 1st for a special look at what's to come in the 2019 legislative session. The General Assembly Preview includes presentations by leading Virginia experts on the environmental topics we expect will rise to the top in 2019. You'll leave with the tools necessary to educate your representatives about advancing the policies that address these topics. Richmond, VA + 7 regional locations (see below) Saturday, December 1, 2018 Traditionally, this annual event has taken place only in Richmond, VA. In order to better accommodate the vast majority of Virginians who live outside of the region, we are working with our partner organizations to host watch parties across the Commonwealth, in addition to hosting the regular in-person event. The watch party locations include Charlottesville, Danville, Harrisonburg, Reston, Roanoke, Virginia Beach, and Warrenton (see below for information about the watch parties). Coffee and breakfast will be served at all locations. All attendees will also receive a copy of the 2019 Environmental Briefing Book, an annual publication written by VCN's Network Partners that displays the conservation issues our community is prioritizing in the coming year. See you on December 1st! Sincerely, Mary Rafferty Executive Director, Virginia Conservation Network Registration link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/general-assembly-preview-tickets-51549284297 |
