Chili Cook off

The HRFC Chili cook off is still on. What is need from everyone is either a donation of time or of ingredients.

 

Things that need to get done:

1)       Make and/or design a booth, needs to be able to hold 6 people minimum have a place to serve the chili, a place to warm the chili and represent HRFC

2)       At least 8 people to serve chili the day of (4 from 7-11 and 4 from 11-4)

3)       We will need 4-8 people to help make the chill a day or two before. I think we should see if we can use the Bresseler Club Kitchen in the basement.

 

Ingredients needed to make 20 gal of chili

1)       Tomatoes 10lbs (peeled and diced)

2)       Onions 10 ( rough chopped)

3)       Beans (Kidney) 160oz or 10 large cans

4)       10 hot pepper (jalapeño, Habanera, or Hungarian hot pepper work the best)

5)       10 bell pepper (rough chopped)

6)       5lb of flank steak (grilled)

7)       10 lbs ground Beef 80% lean is best

8)       80 oz of tomato past or 10 sm cans
