Chili chili chili

This year we (HRFC) are looking to enter in the state chili cook-off during Kopona. We have talked about doing this for years but for one reason or another we have not been able to do this. This year will be different! I will need lots of help in doing this, from getting the entrance paperwork done, to setting up the booth, making the chili, and dishing the chili. If you are interested please let me know ASAP so I can set up a place for us to meet and get this going.
What: The PA State Chili cook-off
When: Labor Day weekend (Kapona)
Where: State St. & Front St Harrisburg
Why: To promote the HRFC and recruit young chili eaters for the club; also this is what we do
How: not sure yet, will need help organizing this
Who: all are welcome to help, please let me know if you are interested.

This coming Sunday, starting at 10:30 AM, at Bob Rhubright's and Clark Weatherholtz's, we will hold the annual championships for 2009. Please advise, if you are interested in participating. The first 10 teams in will be the final 10 teams in. The cost is $20.00 per team with 95% payout to top 3 teams, which will be paid out on Sunday. Double elimination with single games played.
