Educational Team Supervisor Coffees-Special Education

Dear HAWKS community,
 
please see below for information directed to families with children in IEPs.  In particular, Harrington has a new ETS this year: Linda Bartlett (who replaced outgoing John Fletcher).  Please join us for an opportunity to welcome Linda and have a cup of coffee together. 
 
I have highlighted schools that our HAWKS community geographically attend but have included  the schedule for the coffees at all schools for those who have children in programs/classes around the district and out.

The Lexington Public Schools Special Education Department Education Team Supervisors (ETS) are hosting parent coffees at each school to allow parents of students on IEP's the opportunity to meet the Education Team Supervisor and other special education staff at the school.  It is a great chance to put a face to a name and ask general questions.

 

Here is the schedule that was given to the Special Education Parent Advisory Council: 

• Harrington: Wednesday September 9th 8:30AM -  9:15AM Cafeteria (Linda Bartlett)
• Clarke: Wednesday September 16th 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Cafeteria (Rachel Cohen)
• Lexington High School: Wednesday September 9th 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM Library Media Center (Sherry Coughlin)
• Lexington Childrens Place: Wednesday September 30th 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM Harrington Cafeteria (Liz Billings-Fouhy)

 

• Fiske: Tuesday, September 8th 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM Cafe (Johanna Hoxie)
• Hastings: Wednesday September 16th 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM Library (Michele Welch)
• Estabrook: Wednesday September 16th 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM Cafeteria (Jennifer Beaulac)
• Bridge: Thursday September 17th 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM Cafeteria (John Harney)
• Bowman: Tuesday, September 22 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM Library (Kay Slusser)
• Diamond: Thursday September 17th 8:10 AM - 9:15 AM Library Rotunda (Catherine Findlay)
• Lexington Childrens Place Intensive Learning Program Only: Thursday September 10th 8:15 AM - 8:45 AM LCP Conference Room
• Out of District Placements (only for parents of students already placed OOD by LPS): Tuesday September 29, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Central Office Upper level conference room (Barbara Fortier)
