It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share with you the sudden and unexpected passing of Zuo Yao, a loving husband and dedicated father, on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Zuo worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. He loved his job and enjoyed traveling and fishing, but his biggest passion was his family. He lived in Lexington with his wife Hui Li, who is a stay-at-home mom, and two daughters, 15 and 8 years of age respectively. With Zuo's tragic passing, the family lost its sole source of income, leaving Hui and their daughters in distress and with enormous financial burdens.
Our community always comes together in such difficult times and supports each other! We are thankful for any support individuals or organizations may be able to provide. For the benefit of Hui’s family, CALex (Chinese Americans of Lexington) is organizing this fundraising campaign. All the funds received will be used to support the funeral expenses, the family's daily living costs, mortgage, utilities, and other necessities that come with raising two school-aged children.
Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers and thank you in advance for your generosity. Please help us share and spread the word. Thanks!
