Harrington Hawks

Thanks for joining the Harrington Hawks informal list serve.  Feel free to post or request information relevant to the community by sending an email to the group at: harrington-hawks@googlegroups.com.  Please adhere to the guidelines below.

GUIDELINES for HAWKS LIST SERVE:
Because the Hawks Listserv group is not a religious or politically-affiliated organization, the group email cannot be used to send or forward emails related to religious or political subjects or campaigns.

- The group email cannot be used to solicit business for a member's business or any other business.  This includes any fundraising activities and events that are NOT affiliated with the Lexington Public School (LPS) System, the Harrington PTA and/or any other LPS PTA/O.
- Jokes, virus warnings, email forwards, etc. cannot be sent to the group email.
- The group email can be used for informational purposes by members (e.g., members looking for referrals on doctors, kids activities, services, travel, yard sale notices, items for sale [that are not part of a business], etc.)
- The group email can be used to inquire if other members are interested in an activity not listed in the Harrington newsletter (e.g., a concert, speaker, play, child's activity) as long as the activity/event is not religious, political, or a solicitation for business.
- Members may send emails to other members with whom they are friends outside of the Hawks goup that do not adhere to these guidelines.  The Hawks Listserv is not responsible for these emails and members need to speak directly to each other regarding any problems that arise from these emails.
