Java Security Problem

There's currently a security problem with Java on Windows (at least). I think upgrading Java causes the issue. I don't know if there is a workaround, but I will be looking into it.

FYI - I upgraded Java today and was unable to run Bendometer.  It was complaining about something about security.  I fixed it by going to the Java Control Panel, Security tab and changing the Security Level from High to Medium.

Do you know what Java version was on before the upgrade, and what version did you upgrade to?
