I am definitely trying to learn how to bend and hit the notes at the right pitch.  It is very hard for me and Bendometer is perfect for keeping me honest.
I plan on getting a book by Gindick on turning standard (straight harp) tunes into bluesy numbers (cross harp).  I think Bendometer will be a great tool
and speed up the process.

Anyways, my name is Barry, and I have been fooling around with the harp for a couple of years, all straight harp until now.  Now I am looking to go
bluesy.
If anyone has any tunes, exercises, scales that they can suggest to practice please let me know.  All input appreciated.
Thanks,  look forward to getting to know the members and sharing tunes and stories.
All the best,
Barry

Hi Barry,

Bendometer ist a perfect tool to see where are you with your bending. The bending is tricky, because nobody can show how to do it - you can only try (and try, and try,...) and compare the result with a specific tone or to see the result in Bendometer.

For me it was very helpful to watch a JP Allan's bending video, maybe it can be useful for you to.:

I wish you success

Zvonko,
That is an excellent video.  It explains a lot of things that I never even thought of before.
Thank you very much for sharing that.  I will let you know how it goes.....going to take lots of practice though I am sure.
Thanks
Barry
