Problems with jnlp on Linux

I am not able to start the program on Linux.
I use


 java -version
openjdk version "1.8.0_91"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 3.0.1) (suse-12.1-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.91-b14, mixed mode)

The error message is very vague. From various Google searches, I get the impression that it's complaining about security.

It looks like there may be a couple of things I can try on my end, or make a little cleaner, to maybe make it happier, which I'll look into.

On your end, it may be a matter of adding bendometer.com to your accepted sites (in the Java console). It looks it's trying to use FireFox to launch? If you know anything about security certificates it could be a case of not finding a Comodo root certificate when launching.

I'll let you know if I find out more.

I can use your JNLP file on Windows. The problem is only on my Linux with  OpenJDK. But on the same machine I have no problems with other JNLP applications. I have tested:

http://www.icdd.com/Websubmission/

http://sb.nhri.org.tw/GEMSiRV_web_start/dist/launch.html

I will try to find more

Do you sign your files with md5 which is deprecated? Maybe this is the problem.
