I would like to suggest Wilmington NC as an East Coast location for a
SPAH convention. Why? Hotel cost, certainly less expensive than NYC.
Close to the ocean, close to golf,( for those you bring along that
aren't interested in SPAH) a days drive to most anywhere along the
eastern seaboard and interior locations. PLUS, you can fly there
without going thru Atlanta. Anyone else have any other valid reasons
to have it there?
No it's not close to my home, I live in CT.

To all:

Reading thru the many posts regarding SPAH and/or local harmonica festivals
and conventions prompted me to assemble the attached list of the varied
festivals. I think most readers will be amazed at the many and repeated
gatherings listed, though the list does not include every single fest -
only those
which I personally attended, and had a little input.

As the festivals grew over the years, and spread across the country, many
more local areas became interested, and the events spread to Canada,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, etc, etc. Definitely had a
great start
in the Eastern States, prior to spreading further West and the Deep South.

Have fun, enjoy the history of the organization, and help it continue to
grow!

Regards,
Danny
