Hello List -

New member here looking for some gig case recommendations.

As much as I like my Fender Mississippi Sax case, it's just not big enough for all my crap . I'm lookin' for a custom case that fits it all, mics, cords, harps,  a change of boxer shorts . I'm not handy and if I attempt to mod something myself, it will be bloody. That's the best case scenario. Worst case scenario is my friends will be calling me "Lefty".

Any help appreciated and will consider any swap offers for the Fender case - gear, harps, beer, whatever.

Muchasgrassyassmuchachos,

Joe

I'm a big fan of the Pelican cases, used by photographers, scuba divers,
hunters, etc to protect their valuable gear. They are water proof,
float, can be run over by a truck and not harmed, lockable, have valves
to control pressure, extremely well made, and come with high quality
foam inserts that can be shaped to fit your gear. I have the 1550 and my
gear is stored in there in two layers (lots of stuff!). It's easy to
manage. Mike Easton has a different one that's on rollers with a
retractable handle. you can get them, and additional foam inserts, on ebay.

www.harpcase.com makes some great ones (I have had the same one for around
five or six years and I gig and move it often).
