My band plays a lot of originals in Am, and i play 3rd position G harps for, but would like to try out a minor tuned harp.  Which LO key would I buy?  aren't they labeled in second positon.  Other minor tuned harps are labeled differently?

Buy A minor for A minor if you're buying Lee Oskars. A minor natural is
most likely what you'd want. A very nice thing about Lee Oskars in a
minor is ET sounds a whole lot better because of the intervals. And yes
Lee Oskar minors are labeled in 2nd position. fjm

A slight correction to fjm's post:

"Buy A minor for A minor if you're buying Lee Oskars. "

This is true for the Natural Minor Lee Oskar harps, but not the
Harmonic Minor ones. LO labels their Natural Minor and Melody Maker
harps in second position, but their standard diatonic and Harmonic
Minors are labeled in first. Check out the LO site for more details:

For blues in A, I think you'd probably want a Natural Minor in Am
especially if you want to play in 2nd position. Hope this helps.
