Harmony Turbines Company Updates
Hello Harmony Community,
We are excited to make the following two announcements; these are both possible due to our current $1.46M StartEngine campaign, and they are true indicators of the direction Harmony is moving:
- We've hired both our CNC Machinist (Matt, (see below) who started this week) and our Design Engineer (Nate, who starts next week). They are both local to us and will be here onsite with us. We are now a full crew. We will introduce everyone to Nate next week.
- We are moving! - we have secured a space a few miles down the road that will increase our shop area from 3,000 sq ft to almost 10,000 sq ft. The new location will give us, among other perks, the space needed for our anticipated low-volume production later this year; we plan to move sometime in April.
New Hire? Why yes! We'd like to introduce Matt Kelly who started with us this week. He is a CNC machinist who has worked for 4 different companies over the span of 8 years within the aviation and electrical sectors. Matt has also worked with military, and government industries including some contracted parts for NASA Langley & Lockheed Martin. He has 6 years in the PA Army National Guard, the last 4 as a Team Leader in an Allied Trade Specialist MOS (91E). We are thrilled to have him join the team as our CNC Machinist and CAM programmer. Welcome, Matt!
