Once again I'd like to thank you for joining our mailing list.
We are pleased to announce that we have updated some of our freeware
and shareware programs.
We've released version 3.0 of ShellSearch. Formerly "ad-ware", the
program is no longer bundled with SaveNow advertising software and is
now shareware. ShellSearch is a handy utility that helps you search
your desktop, Start menu, favorites menu, and several other commonly
used "Shell" folders for shortcuts or other files with just a few
letters of their titles. A great time saver if you keep your desktop
and Start menu cluttered like I do. More info about what has been

We've also updated Cool Timer to version 2.1. This freeware program is
just like an oven timer only cooler. I use it to limit the kids' video
game and computer time but it can be used for so much more, like
cooking, or excercising (which I definitely need to do much more!). It
can play any Wav, MP3, or Midi file as the alarm once time expires.
Best of all, it's completely free. No strings attached, no advertising
software bundled with it or anything. Info about what's changed in the

Also updated is Text Tally. This nifty little tool automatically
counts and displays the amount of words, lines, and characters in any
text you copy to the clipboard if it is running. Great for kids writing
essays or book reports that have to be a certain number of words, or
for filling out web forms where fields must contain a certain amount of
characters. This one is also completely free and no longer bundled with
