Anonymous Email from a Coward

Did anyone else happen to receive the below anonymous email today?  Apparently, it went out as an unsolicited mass email to people associated with Harmony Community School. 

What kind of coward or loser would send something like this to people to push an unfounded agenda and try to promote unnecessary fear in our community? Further how did that person obtain all of the email addresses of the parents who received these emails and why?

Based on the content and the fact that the email links to a little known web site, I think I have an idea of who the coward is. If that person is a member of this forum, I would suggest they man up and come forward. They should stop being a little troll and sign the emails that they send unsolicited to people who don't care about their Don Quixote crusades.

Giant gas pipelines were found at Harmony Community School!

Who knew? A cell phone call during a natural gas leak can cause an explosion at our school!!!

My daughter attends Harmony Community School. We received a letter from Mr. Davis last month about gas pipelines near HCS. It sounded like no big deal.

I just read about the ENORMOUS VOLUMES OF NATURAL GAS flowing through these pipelines. It is almost unbelievable. The real estate company that donated the land obviously wants it kept quiet and I can't believe how Commissioner Hawkins is obviously in cahoots with them on this. SHAME on Fred Hawkins!

First, this sounds like an accusation Ray. Second, I was forwarded the same
email by someone else in our community this morning.

I agree completely. It is cowardly to send anonymous emails. In fact, it is
cowardly to do anything anonymously online. That's why I always use my name
for everything I do: emails, reviews and online posts. If I felt I had
anything to fear while speaking my mind openly, I wouldn't be barred from
all developer property just for exposing the developer's anonymous Wikipedia
vandalism last year (which you wrote you would actually do yourself for your
own business if you had the opportunity Ray). Double standard? Anyway, it's
not my style.

While I don't agree with the approach, I certainly do agree with the
sentiment.

No accusation George. I simply have my own suspicions.

I would like to ask you a question, George: did you recently (within the
last few weeks) make a public records request for email addresses on file
with the school district or receive a response to a public records request
from the school district that contained email addresses it has on file?

As a matter of fact I did Ray. The email addresses included everyone on the
Harmony Community School SAC list (what I thought was the PAC list at the
time). I sent them all an email because I thought the gas pipeline letter
from the school district was less than fully informative.

I sent an email to each person on that list, including Jon Davis, HCS
Principal. I sent each email with my full name attached and all 20 emails
were sent last Thursday. I can show them to you if you like.

I don't recall sending you an email Ray, unless you have some other email
address without "wall" in it and you go by some other name. Are you on the
SAC list Ray? I also don't recall sending an email to the person who
forwarded me the anonymous email this morning.

Thanks for the forthright response, George. The email was sent by someone who had access to the same list of emails you obtained from the district and then some.

I will reiterate that I believe the person and anyone who worked with them to coordinate the email is a coward for contacting people who don't want to be contacted and doing it in anonymous manner.

I also received the email from the angry parent, and I am definitely not on any Harmony school list. I am not sure why I would have been included.

As I wrote, I also saw the email Ray. I'm not sure how you could know this
with any confidence.

A neighbor who was concerned about their private email being published and
used to receive a creepy email contacted the school district to find out if
anyone had requested email addresses through a public records request. They
do not participate in this forum and declined when I asked if they wished me
to mention their name publicly.

So in other words, your brave "neighbor" wishes to remain anonymous. I can
understand that, though I don't respect that choice.

Correct me if I am wrong Ray, but since you are not on the email list
associated with the Harmony Community School, your neighbor's public records
request must have been what motivated your original strongly worded post. Is
that correct?

Likewise, since your neighbor is not a member of this forum and you

associated with Harmony Community School", your neighbor must be associated
with the Harmony Community School. Is that correct?

Both my wife and I received the email. As did various other people that I
know in the community.

My strongly worded post was motivated by idiotic people sending
misinformation out to people in an unsolicited manner. I'm concerned that
people who are willing to do such a thing would be willing to go to greater
and possibly harmful lengths to get their deranged points across.

I can't help but notice that while you like forthright responses from me
Ray, you don't seem to like responding in kind.

I agree that people sending misinformation in any form, unsolicited or not,
is a serious concern. But just saying so accomplishes little. It still
leaves at least one question unanswered.

So far, you have identified only yourself and your wife as having received
the "School Mom" email. Neither of you are associated with the Harmony
Community School (ie. on the HCS SAC email list). So I will ask again.

Is your neighbor who made the public records request about the HCS SAC email
list on that list?

If you're not sure Ray, then it looks like you just invented your first
claim on this topic. What else have you claimed that you have no evidence
for Ray?

The verifiable truth is that several people received an anonymous email from
someone about stuff I've been writing about. It might have gone to HCS
people similar to how it went to non-HCS people (like you and your wife).
But the only thing you know for sure is that it went to some non-HCS people.

You really don't know who it was sent to, do you Ray? You just assumed it
went to HCS people because I requested HCS email addresses from the school
district and I've been writing about gas pipelines near HCS, right Ray?
(BTW, how would I get your wife's email address Ray? Is she a member of this
group? Why would I bother sending emails to you or her anyway since I know
you have already seen whatever I have been posting here?)

You and the developer folks just can't fathom the possibility that someone
else besides me might be seriously concerned about gas pipelines right next
to the elementary school, right Ray?
