upcoming performance and web update

Dear friends of HVQ:

I wanted to let you know that we have a part to play in the upcoming
program "Waging Peace in Times of War," set for 8 p.m. Saturday, April
12, at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Church in Knoxville. The event is
part of TVUUC's Performing Arts and Lecture Series.

The program will include two multimedia works, readings, and the world
premiere of our friend Jim Carlson's "A Sound as Yet Unheard" for
soprano and piano.

HVQ will sing the Agnus Dei from Britten's War Requiem and join the
TVUUC choir in a selection from Donald McCullough's "Holocaust
Cantata." Tickets are $15.

On a purely administrative note, I'm in the process of transferring
