Helpful Steps would like to invite your organisation to part-take in this year’s WHEELCHAIR RACE DAY. Teams of five will battle it out in sports chairs (provided) on various race tracks to win the HELPFUL STEPS WHEELCHAIR RACE DAY PLAQUE. The event takes place at the National Kart Centre in the Marina Commercial Park on Sunday 29th September at 10 am. Places are limited so please book early at a fee of €20 per person with a BBQ to follow. This inclusive event is open to both able body and wheelchair users. Wear your club jersey.
Helpful Steps fund-raises for state-of-the-art rehabilitation devices and training for wheelchair users. Our aim is to use these devices to help strengthen people with disabilities. This will improve their health and long-term quality of life.
