to Harlan Developers
Hi All,
I'm so new to parallel processing and GPUs (and Harlan) that I know almost nothing about either of them but I know I eventually have to know something about them.
I have a natural language processing program (written in Lisp) and it's very slow. It's the whole thing about matching productions to phrase structure... a LOT of string pattern matching.
Anyway, I really like the idea of exploiting a GPU for this purpose, but I'm not even sure if I'd know what I'm doing.
Are there any well-documented examples of using Harlan for many different purposes? And since I'm so new to this, I mean REALLY well documented... like spoon feeding.
Sorry to be a retard. Any help is appreciated.
