Position Type: Long term Contract
Location: Albany, NY (Should be local to Albany, NY within 30 miles of commute)
Should have local Albany project on resume
Should have worked in federal or state government setting (Health and Human Services, especially in Integrated Eligibility System programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, Child Support, etc.)

Position 2: : .NET Integration Developer (Lead)
Location: Hybrid in Albany, NY
Long term Contract
Level III- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer
​More than 7 years of experience in integration application (API, batch, async) design and development. across high-profile projects with complex business logic.
More than 7 years developing, troubleshooting and optimizing integrations (APIs, asynchronous and batch processes).
​Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
​7+ years of experience in designing, documenting, developing, and implementing integration processes/solutions using .NET C#
7+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure web-services, SOAP/Restful APIs
​4+ years of experience developing with message queue (IBM MQ preferred) processing and/or an Enterprise Service Bus.
​7+ years of experience with Entity Framework
​7+ years of experience unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit preferred)
5+ years of experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git)
​2+ years of experience in designing & implementing CI/CD workflows.

Project Overview

The consultant will support staff augmentation services focused on critical initiatives for OASAS system upgrades, modernization, and Salesforce integration.

This role requires a Salesforce-focused DevOps Engineer responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and automated solutions across the full technology stack.


Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer is a cross-functional IT professional with expertise spanning development, operations, and platform engineering within the Salesforce ecosystem.

This role involves:

  • Extending Salesforce functionality using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Supporting integrations and system administration
  • Driving automation and operational efficiency

The position bridges development and operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and modern DevOps practices.


Mandatory Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working on complex IT projects
  • 2+ years in a leadership role as a DevOps Engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Platform

  • Salesforce Certifications:
    • Platform Administrator
    • Platform Developer II
    • OmniStudio Developer
  • 2+ years experience in:
    • CI/CD tools (Salesforce CLI, DevOps Center, Copado)
    • Event-driven architecture (Platform Events, CDC, REST/SOAP)
    • OmniStudio Suite (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataMappers, Integration Procedures)
    • Development environments (VS Code, IntelliJ)
    • Version control (Git)
    • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
    • Release planning (Sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development & Automation

  • Design and implement backend logic using Apex (classes, triggers, batch processes)
  • Develop modern UI components using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Build guided workflows using OmniStudio tools (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures)
  • Optimize business processes using workflows, validation rules, and custom objects

Data & Integration Management

  • Manage high-volume data operations using DataMappers/DataRaptors
  • Ensure seamless data flow across platform layers and external systems
  • Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Configure middleware for reliable system communication
  • Manage structured data formats (JSON/XML) and API contracts

Security & Governance

  • Implement Salesforce security best practices
  • Configure access controls using:
    • Profiles
    • Permission Sets
    • Role Hierarchies
    • Sharing Rules
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce governor limits and security models

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
    • Salesforce CLI
    • DevOps Center
    • Copado
  • Maintain version control using Git (branching, merging, PRs)
  • Manage deployments across development, staging, and production environments
  • Utilize modern IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ) for development and deployment

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Write scalable and efficient code aligned with performance standards
  • Perform unit testing and implement automated test frameworks
  • Conduct peer code reviews and ensure code quality

Agile & Collaboration

  • Work within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
