Tangent is currently seeking a RF Expert to work in Oman for a 6 month extendable.
Multi-technology Radio Network Planning & Optimization Expert
The Multi-technology Radio Network Planning&Optimization Expert will be responsible for the overall Radio Network re-design for GSM/UMTS/LTE/U900 based on each cell with new Quad-band antenna, it is better to have ACP tool using experience. The expert will work in huawei’s team and communicate with customer and output high quality and professional proposal and responsible the execution result.
The key responsibilities are listed below:
Responsibilities
1. Responsible Analyse in depth the current network topology and structure and output high quality and professional evaluation report about the networks coverage/capacity/performance.
2. Responsible for the analysis and communication with Huawei’s client about the current antenna(GSM/UMTS/Wimax) swapped by the new Quad-band antenna for the antenna performance comparison and impact to the live network after all the current antennas changed to the new quad-band antenna.
3. Responsible for the comprehensive RF redesign solution for the GSM&UMTS&Wimax/LTE technology network based on using one quad-band antenna in each co-location site.
4. Responsible for the resign solution approved by the customer and ensure the GSM&UMTS&Wiax/LTE network performance achieve the expected target. And ensure to get the acceptance approval from the technical part after redesign solution implementation.
5. Responsible output cluster level RF redesign work flow and deliverable.
6. Responsible for high level technical presentation to the client CXO level.
Skill and Experience Profile
1. Extensive knowledge and experience for GSM&UMTS&Wimax/LTE technologies and working the sector more than 8 years.
2. Extensive experience of Radio Network planning and optimisation solution and practice of large and complex projects(including new site nominal plan and live network redesign), internationally.
3. Can operate very familiarly with the professional simulation tool (such as Atoll/Unet/Asset,etc) in the RF sector for GSM/UMTS/LTE.
4. Track record of delivering Radio Network planning and optimisation projects using internationally accepted engineering methodology's and procedures
5. Thorough understanding of Radio Network Optimisation life cycle, from project initiation and QoS target analysis through to guideline implementation and end to end Radio Network Optimisation using a structured methodology after antenna swapped to Quad-band antenna..
6. Ability to help with the formulation and execution of integrated Radio Network planning and optimization plans.
7. Ability to deliver proactive, credible, responsive Radio Network planning and optimisation services to Huawei and end client.
8. Ability to problem solve creatively and quickly under pressure.
9. Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
10. Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of the project and effectively explain complex issues and concepts in simple, understandable language
11. Posses strong technical skills within multi-vendor projects internationally
12. Posses strong written, oral and presentation skills
