It's a boy!

Dear friends,

Daphne and I are delighted to announce that Peter Henry Hargrave was born at 9:54am on the morning of Sunday, 17th March 2013. He weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces. He was delivered at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala, Uganda by Dr Robert Busingye; labor and delivery were guided by Mich èle Ball, Registered Midwife and supported by fellow OCMC Missionary Maria Roeber, RN.

Peter Henry is named in memory of his great-great-great grandaddy, Peter Henry Rolfs, of his great-grandaddy Robert Henry "Pete" Hargrave, and of Father Peter Kastaris of blessed memory, former priest at St Elizabeth Greek Orthodox Church in Gainesville, FL.

Mother and child are doing very well. We are all exhausted. We were comforted by Maria's presence. She was at our side every moment. Both her love and care as well as her knowledge and counsel helped us to navigate labor and delivery.
