I get this weird feeling that the song I'm thinking of is either from some kind of comedy music (like weird al, lonely island, tenacious d) or it's from some kind of EDM (daft punk or something along those lines) where maybe they even looped a sample from the private eyes intro.
What is different today is the size and scope of the commercial satellite sector and the ease of information dissemination. At the end of the book, Baby Monkey is sleeping in his crib with his mother watching over him.
