In case anyone is interested,  I’ve been working on a project to celebrate the anniversary of MUMPS and its first standard. It includes a parser and interpreter with integrated database in < 10k lines of C++.

There are pre-compiled versions in case you want to play with it.

We are always interested in M implementations. 
As 1977 standard system there are certain limitations one might run into when using yours. 
It ought to be able to be tested with the original Japanese test suite. MVTS. No strings as subscripts is really limiting. Using a string to number hash was very common then.
