This was quite the read!  My head is spinning.

The article kept referring to a program called OpenHands.  So I just researched a bit on this.  Looks like it is an AI code-generation system.  I would be very interested to see how it does making VistA related code.  But a quick search for OpenHands VistA  or OpenHands Mumps didn't return anything useful.

Does anyone have any knowledge about OpenHands?

It mentioned it was formerly called OpenDevin. Devin is a product that caused a huge stir about a year ago for being able to automate coding, something that is common today.
