Phil Simon to Speak at the VISTA Expo & Symposium
Noted speaker and technology expert Phil Simon is scheduled to give a keynote address at the Third Annual VISTA Expo & Symposium, to be held in Seattle, Washington, October 22-25, 2013. He will address the topic of platforms, ecosystems, and open-source development. Phil Simon’s keynote is jointly sponsored by DSS, Inc., Intersystems Corporation, and the VISTA Expertise Network, hosts of the VISTA Expo & Symposium. All conference attendees will receive a copy of The Age of the Platform.

Full Slate of Pre-conference Academy Classes Now Open for Registration
A full slate of pre-conference training classes has been announced for the Academy program of the Third Annual VISTA Expo & Symposium. The eight different classes covering a range of VISTA-related topics will be held at the same venue as the VISTA Expo, in Seattle, Washington, beginning October 18, 2013. The VISTA Expo & Symposium will run from October 22 to 25, 2013.
The VISTA Expo Academy has class offerings appropriate to managers, IT staff, and clinicians. Multi-day classes are offered in VISTA Foundations, GT.M Administration & Operations, EWD, and Intersystems’ DeepSee. One-day classes will be held on separate days for VISTA CPRS and VISTA Clinical Reminders, allowing interested clinicians to attend both. Additional one-day classes offered are Technical VISTA Systems and Introduction to Linux.
