Training for VistA (System Administration, Techical (MUMPS), Functional (CPRS) Module Configuration

We are a team of global Doctors, Software professionals, and Engineering professionals. Recently we have uploaded VistA on Intersystems Cache. Can anyone provide direction as to how/where to get serious training for VistA system admin, VistA Functional Module configuring, VistA Technical (MUMPS)? Do you know any training outfits that runs such training like they do for other commercial softwares like SAP, Oracle?

Ravi,

Intersystems is a pretty bad choice for VISTA training. I know that HP
has VISTA expertise, but I have never heard of them offering classes.
And unless you are a pretty big company, forget about Intersystems
trying to sell Cache to you. Buy GT.M instead.

My goal is to install VistA as is like off the shelf product for small 3-5 doctor practice and configure it to their needs using existing modules. I do not intend to make any changes to the process or templates. It is like taking SAP and configuring functionally. From that point of view where can I get training ONLY on the Functional Modules configuration? I am not looking for deep MUMPS programming training. My potential user is willing to make process changes in their practice as per what VistA. Any guidance?

My advice that this is right now a pie in the sky dream. It's doable,
but it will take a lot of effort. And for that matter, VISTA is not a
good choice for outpatient workflow. Use RPMS instead. Google RPMS
before asking any questions.
