Greetings, Hardhats!
We're only one month out from the
VISTA Expo & Symposium. Several of the associated training classes will begin on Saturday, September 8th. The Expo will launch with an evening social on Monday, September 10th, and the main Expo programming begins on September 11th. It's tempting to leave things to the last minute, but you'll want to get your registration set up, and make your travel arrangements soon.
Reminders:
*
Hotel reservations: In order to ensure that you receive our favorable conference rate, use the link at the
Expo Hotel page, or specifically ask for the VISTA Expo rate when you contact the Seattle Airport Marriott.
There are a limited number of rooms at that rate, so be sure to make your reservations soon.
*
Conference registration: Visit our
Registration page to get set up for the Expo. If you work with one of our major sponsors (currently GT.M and DSS), please contact them for special registration discount codes. Otherwise, if you sign up for
our mailing list, you can qualify for a small discount.
*
Training classes: We have several training opportunities being offered at the conference hotel on the days just prior to the Expo, so you can take a class, and not miss any programming! We will have courses on EWD, GT.M, CPRS for end-users, and Agile Project Management Techniques. Seats for these classes are limited -
and the EWD course is dependent upon a minimum class size registered by August 24th - so register soon! Course information is linked at our
Registration page.

Papers for the Proceedings are due August 15th. Please get us your articles or white papers on VISTA-related topics, for publication in the Proceedings volume. We don't mind if it has been previously published, as long as you have retained publication rights. We ask that you share your work with us under a CC BY (Creative Commons by Attribution) or similar open license. Submissions and questions can be sent to
