Hey All,

I am working with a new version of CPRS, and when I log in, I get a
message box that says "Patient Selection Flag Not Set", and then CPRS
exits.

I am assuming there is something missing from my record in the NEW
PATIENT file.
Can anyone tell me how to configure this?

Thanks
Kevin

Actually, it is a record in the NEW PERSON file (File #200).
I am making a page on VistApedia about this.

Basically, you have to

Supporting the "history repeats itself" adage , I did a google on this
and found at http://www.postfinder.com/post/24871081.html this e-mail:

] RESTRICT PATIENT SELECTION should be set to NO

Try setting the RESTRICT PATIENT SELECTION? flag in file 200 to NO. I
think it needs to have some value other than null.

I wrote out this message. And as my finger was heading for the ENTER
key I thought, "I should search to see if anyone else has asked this
question." But I was feeling lazy and went ahead and posted.
Needless to say, I'm embarrassed to be so forgetful.

At least this time around I had gone to that 3rd page of editing
users. But I saw no "NO" and thought that was good enough. I wonder
if I will remember that it needs to say "YES" next time.

"Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most."

Thanks everyone.
