We recently added a new feature to the code base that will be in the next YottaDB release, a deviceparameter that allows a terminal $PRINCIPAL device to respond to SIGWINCH when the terminal size changes. Draft Release Notes are at https://gitlab.com/YottaDB/DB/YDB/-/work_items/1247 and we would be interested in any feedback if you care to try it. You will need to rebuild from source (ydbinstall.sh will build and install YottaDB for you if you want).

This fixes one of my personal minor annoyances. Previously, if I did a show -segment in GDE, the lines wrapped, and I expanded the window size, a subsequent show -segment would still wrap at the old location. Now, it will use the new window size.

Please note that since this feature is in a code base that is under development, it should not be used in production till our next production release. Thank you.

Regards
