This is just one of hundreds of upgrades that Astronaut, LLC has to offer that is fully compatible with VA VistA. This is in Astro-CPRS patient document signing. It can be done either in person or over a remote session such as Zoom, Doxy.me, Goto Meeting, any platform that allows mouse sharing. It also works with our fully virtualized through the browser Astro-CPRS.  This is not a mock-up. This is used daily in actual clinical practice at multiple sites.

Just to clarify, you are running CPRS on a cloud server, and you are showing what can be done remotely?

Looks cool

Thanks Kevin,

The major benefits of this is that you can see patients fully telemedicine and they can sign documents remotely and directly into the chart witnessed by the user. It is very time, server space, and cost efficient and requires no 3rd party signing app.

Before, the best solution was a wet signature with a scanner which is still supported but suffers from not being tele-friendly, cumbersome, and takes a lot of server space.  We keep that workflow for certain patients that this works the best for.

We have many, many more upgrades to the VA VistA system beyond this one.
