Let me refine/change the setup from the prior post. Something screwy is going on... Cross reference entries for times when the Version number is a string, and not a mumps cardinal number (e.g. "4.0") seem to be getting lost, and are not even found in "C" XRef.

Summary:
1) Why are non-cardinal-numeric values for the Version field not showing up in cross reference? Is this expected behavior?? If the Version field is defined as free text (a string), then shouldn't the cross reference accomidate a string entry? I initially wanted them to sort together (in my first post). But it seems crazy that it is completely MISSING!!
2) What the heck is going on?
