Many times "access violation" is a problem on the server side where the VistA system is not configured appropriately, hence a value is returned to CPRS that is outside the range allocated to a variable, and thus the when the varirable is used as an index, it generates this error.

That being said, Kevin did say he was looking at some of his code as well. Is the CPRS you are using TMG-CPRS or WV-CPRS or VA-CPRS ?

Where did you get your copy of VistA, what version of MUMPS are you using, what version of server operating system, and what version of client operating system do you use?

Does any other Broker application work?
Try CHECK^XWBTCPMT and if there are not any errors try CALL^XWBTCPMT.

This might sound funny, but I sometimes get CPRS errors when I have a
firewall problem.

Not that this is of any help, but I just got the same kind of error
(diffferent addresses), here at the Albany VAMC on the "real" VA
system!

Ok, finally i got it working. I just verified all my installation instruction from below link
http://www.hardhats.org/projects/VistA_Install/Vista_Install.html
and got it to work, you would need to watch carefully with each step of installation to make sure it reflects your system.

Thanks to all for your help...
