Hola. Soy nuevo en esto. Instalé xHarbour con el plan de compilar viejos programas en Clipper, pero no pude dar el primer paso con "Hola mundo" y no me doy cuenta donde está el error. ¿me ayudarían?

If you are using hbmk2 I suppose you are using Harbour.

From the same dir of the prg and supposing to have the environment variables correctly set,

hbmk2 hola1

should be enough!

In any case, a directory with spaces must be specified using "

An Harbour deb and HwGUI deb for Linux are available here :

For Harbour, it seems it works correctly under Ubuntu from 16.04 to 22.04

For hwgui, the deb works only for 16.04 and 18.04.

I'm making it to work under 2.04 et 22.04.
