Does Microsoft create another security flag?

Last days I am receiving DOS ERROR 2.

At server: (Windows 7 or Windows 8)

DIR file.dbf

this shows the file.

DIR f*.dbf

File is not shown. Same in Windows explorer, can't see the file.

After copy, erase, rename, works ok.

DOS ERROR 2 occurs in stations, when try access DBFs.

Try to turn off the AV software. AV programs intercepts system calls for files, and sometimes it creates the problem. For example, I had a few Win 2003 server where simply SET INDEX command does not open the index. Everything goes without errors, but the index sometimes is not open.

Of course, I assume that there is no viruses on this computers.

This occurs last days, and all hardware and software is the same.
I think any Windows update could make this.
Seems like folder permissions, but I never see this when using server:

-> At server: (Windows 7 or Windows 8)
a)
DIR file.dbf
this shows the file.

b)DIR f*.dbf
File is not shown. Same in Windows explorer, can't see the file in folder.

--> At workstation, when try same dbf
DOS ERROR 2

At server:
After copy, erase, rename, works ok in all
