Hello Qatan,

hbodbc is for connect harbour apps with any odbc concetions?

One sample is "presto-odbc"  --> https://github.com/prestodb/presto-odbc

This is a guide to implement,

I don't have knowledge of C to implement it.

Thank you.
Peter.

Hello Peter,

This question could be asked on the “User’s” list instead of the “Developer’s” list.
Did you look into /contrib/hbodbc?
I think you may find what you are looking for.
I hope it will help you.
If you have more questions, please use the other list...
Regards,

Qatan

Subject: [harbour] ODBC Driver for [x]Harbour

Hello to all,

I have many problems to connect dbf files with odbc to connet with word, excel, ....

I found this url:

I think it would be very useful for people who are still using DBF files.

This is only an idea, but you can use "dbfcdx", "sixcdx", "dbfpt" .... would be an improvement for many.

I am not a developer, so I get the idea, if someone can make it possible.

Thank you.
Peter.

Hello Peter,

I think so... although I didn’t test with any other than .MDB connections.
As far as the “string connection” is valid it should work fine.
I hope it will work for you

Do you try Advantage Local Server ODBC?
Time ago I was using it in VB6 to access Clipper+SIX files simultaneous.
