Hello
to run an application as a service,
I used a tip from another colleague,
"nssm - non sucking service manager".

You can search the net for AppToService, a small program that does
exactly that. It creates a service and puts your program inside it.

It is veeery old anyway (it dates back to 2000)

Michael,
Check this \hb32\contrib\hbwin\tests\service.prg by Jose Luis Capel.
The best example to understand and write your own Harbour Service Applications!
Simple and easy to understand the 'Service' concept.

Cheers,
JC
