Mouse on Console

From time to time I have attempted to add a mouse to a Harbour Console program.
Mainly to add a doubleclick event to a field but these attempts always fail. So I'll
forget for a while, after muttering unprintable words and move on to something else. 

I've also tried \tests\mouse and  \tests\moremouse both do nothing at all for me.

I recently dropped on another wvclip.zip to try and get no further than when it falls over when compiling with the error:
hbmk2: Error: Referenced, missing, but unknown function(s): WAPI_GETSYSCOLOR()

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction to remove this error and get a mouse? Presumably I am the only Harbour user with this issue
