the value given to teachers is low, and capacity building is also
needed.

By the way this problems come from MOE. when I am saying this now the
country follows quantity rather than quality. so we must see alround.

it is a very important issue, of course the quality of education in HU has become improving, but we have not reached the quality expected  yet due to various factors such as poor infrastructure, inadequate skilled human power, poor mgt , inadequate incentives to staff, lack of motivation to staff etc...

I'm really happy with Ur idea. quality of education is a broad and complex issue and affected by so many factors. some of the facors inclue, the teachers ( attitude, performance in knowledge of subject matter, methodology assessment skills..), students themselves ( background,readiness/motivation, univ.mgt accessed to internet and skill) and the professional r/nship b/n student and teachers....Which do u think are the most relevant factors and which are in our hand to improve?

I think now a days one of the problem in  higher  institution is the quality of the education. So that we have to  work very hard to  bring  quality of education

there has to be a policy change, all things are related with that, in our hand we need to influence the policy by doing research and other evidence based data

Quality of eduction become a big problem not only in Haramaya
University but also the problem of the country so that for improving
this problem ,teachers have to get refreshment training for the
course matter and government also should give attention on quality
than quantity

of course policy might be one of the factors.I'm not quit sure of it rather it is the immediate people who can affect directly. U know policy is something idead and also i don't think it is implemented appropriately. If  the implementation is poor b/s of the ideal i would agree otherwise it is better to check through research as u said.

I accept  the idea  you have forwarded that both the clients and the institution has impact  on  quality of  education. To improve the quality all stake holders(HU community) are responsible.

so, i think it is better to ask where BPR is detained and what they think about the efficiency of the processes. How they are propagating the slogan "HU is university of choice"?

It is really difficult to attribute the problem of the quality of education to our campus. But I guess that there is no tough competition among students because they could easily score pass mark to join universities.
