Taking over of HWOWA administration

Dear friends,

We are pleased to inform you that the new management committee has taken over the administration from the present committee effective midnight 31 March 2018.

Our sincere appreciation to the outgoing team for their excellent selfless service in the past 2 years, in spite of their time crunch; especially Mr.Adithya’s service is exemplary. We wish the outgoing team members and their family a happy and peaceful living in the HW community.

On 31^st March 2018, Mr.Aditya (outgoing Treasurer) and Mr.Daniel (outgoing VP), introduced the incoming committee to the service providers like Securo, Flora, A care, DG set and Pest control. The remaining service providers will be introduced to us in the coming week.

We, the incoming team, have briefed the service providers, our intention of making the HW premises an excellent living place and requested them to come back with their self-assessment of their current service and improvement plan. We will be having a detailed discussion with each service providers during this week.

The documents and records involving the finance, assets, contracts etc., handing over is planned tentatively on 8^th April 2018. The registration of new committee with Registrar of Society is in progress and expected to be completed by the end of April 2018.

As you all know, the incoming team consists of professionals from different disciplines and they will apply their knowledge and skill to manage the HW community tasks to the best possible manner in an efficient way.

We have formed team for implementation of the manifesto, drawing members from all blocks. We request you to join this initiative and enjoy the happiness of serving the HW society.

We have created a separate mail for you to communicate to “Management committee” and “Facility management manager” from your personal email id on issues in your flat, block and inside the HW premises. Our management committee members are happy to resolve the issues to your satisfaction. The mailing address is help...@gmail.com

For all issues we request you to get in touch, first with your Block Committee Member (BCM). He will solve most of your issues. He will escalate it to Office bearers if it is complex and requires intervention of Secretary and President. We attached a pdf file containing the name and photographs of office bearers & Block committee members (BCM) of the current Management Committee for your records.

Good Morning

Greetings to all

Hearty Congratulations to the entire Team PKS and friends;  The first democratically elected body of H W O W A.

2018 April 1 augurs well for the community at large since many issues are confronting us internally and externally and its the right time for the educated, far sighted and experienced and dedicated citizens and residents to unite and fight for good and genuine causes within the community and in the society at large;  We see lot of good things blooming and the effects of such decisions will have far reaching consequences in the few years to come.  Be it Demonetization, GST, Aadhaar Linkage, Benami Act, Online registration of properties, shrinking physical cash circulation, e-auction of all licences, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code where the big ticket defaulters are brought to books and assets siezed, confiscated, auctioned and realised through resolution professionals etc.  The positive effects will be embracing us post 2019-20 fiscal years and add to this the HIB Visa Tightening will help in brain-drain wherein many well meaning indian intellectuals will stay put in our beloved nation to make it a super power before 2020-2025 as envisioned by Abdul Kalam.

I had gone through the profile of each and every person in this committee;

It reminds me of the Dream Team of USA NBA Basketball team of the mid 90's where Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Steve Barkley played together with the other top 10 players of NBA League in the Olympics to win the Gold MEdal fighting against Brazil, Spain, China and Argentina by huge margin.

This team has a wide mix of the young and old, experienced and the learner ( i vehemently oppose the word inexperienced), it has techies ( my first vote for the young , bubbly, energetic and ever enthusiastic, high voltage performer Venkatesh Damodaran ( he will sure go places in the near future ) )and the engineers, soft ware professionals, financial professionals, media veteranas its secretary and Mr. Daniel from the past committee to guide the committee on the nitty gritty of things.

This committee, I am cock sure that they will be responsive, accessible, performing, transparent, much more organised and professional in its approach in the days to come and sure create benchmarks for the future committees to excel and succeed and fight more vigorously against defaulters and the naysayers at large.

They will sure chalk out a clear list of priorities and act accordingly;  They have enough work on hand and they look forward only to cooperation from the residents in complying with the Community rules and regulations without which none can succeed or move forward.

I offer my full cooperation at all times as always.

Last but not the least, greetings to the outgoing team as they have taken the responsibility of serving the committee when none came forward due to professional preoccupation, usual hesitation and various personal reasons, starting from nowhere they have have carried the society on their shoulders not knowing where to to begin and end and facing numerous logistical and administrative issues.  They sure be congratulated for their contribution at the crucial juncture.  My best wishes to them

Now its time to forget the past and let bygones be bygones and its time to start working unitedly.

This tamil new year will sure be a great beginning;
