Hello folks.
Our last show until October is almost upon us...
MONDAY JULY 27:
JON RICHARDSON – Jon’s a real star in the making. A mid-twenties
misanthrope from Swindon with a rapidly growing fanbase, thanks to TV
appearances such as Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1) and his
own, hugely-popular, Sunday morning radio show (BBC 6Music). He’s also
clocked up an If.Comedy Award Nomination (for best new act at the
Edinburgh Festival in 2007) and won a Chortle Award in 2009 (for best
breakthrough act) – both cementing his place as “one of the most
talented comics of his generation” (The Herald).
PETE FIRMAN – Pete is a magician like no other; “Funnier than most
comedians and more magical than Dumbledore” (Time Out). He rose to
fame early in his career, thanks to starring roles in Monkey Magic
(C5) and Dirty Tricks (C4) and has continued to regularly showcase his
phenomenal skills on TV and stages around the world. He’s shot from
playing to audiences of 75 a night to over 300 at the Edinburgh
Festival, in a matter of years. And been described by The Times as
"the Myspace generation's Tommy Cooper".
