Augustine,
First Unitarian Church of Dallas will be visiting Holy Trinity on Sunday, February 10, at 5 p.m. I picked your Mass because I think they will enjoy the diversity of the population and the energy generated in large measure by your music group. I believe Father Don is scheduled to celebrate the Mass and to preach.
Just wanted to give you a heads up. We probably will try to seat them on the right side as close to the front as possible.
Afterwards we will have a reception in the Community Life Center foyer for them as well as anyone else in attendance who wishes to come. We will have hot apple cider and a light snack. Hope you and the choir will be able to drop by for a brief visit with these folks.
At first I had thought of trying to prepare something from the Missalette (spelling?) for them to follow but have run out of time to do so and don’t think it would be that helpful anyway. I think they will catch the spirit of the evening from the celebratory atmosphere which is characteristic of the Sunday 5 p.m. Mass!
