Position: General Manager – Operations

About Client: Danam (Fiji) Limited is a manufacturer of Men’s and Ladies woven apparel based in Fiji islands (4 hours flight from Australia), exporting products to Australia, USA and New Zealand. Danam is a winner of various exporters’ awards including the prestigious Fiji business excellence award.

Compensation: Very Good Package

Job Responsibilities

• At least 10 year experience in manufacturing, or general management or apparel environment
• Responsible for entire operations, administration and management of the company of apparel manufacturing- finance, human resources, production, quality assurance, Information technology, commercial sales and marketing
• All functions related to Management plan for overall business development, seeking export opportunities globally. Maximize sales and profitability. Attain budget performance. Cliental management etc
• Must have finance/ accounting knowledge
• Policy formulation and strategies
• Experience in management of people
• Exceptional organizer
• Liaising with stakeholder of the business
• Ensure the day to day operations of the organization are effectively and efficiently coordinated within the agreed framework of the management,
• closely monitor that the garment factory is performing at optimum productivity levels
• Developed and management of the business plan
• A solid record in team leadership and employee development
