Anyone tried the publicly-available Happy with a modern stack yet?  Python 2.4+, Hadoop 0.19.0+, etc.

I'm just checking in before I do any real investigation.  Happy looks fun but I'd rather not reinvent the wheel if someone's hacked up some changes already.

Thanks!
Ken

Hi Ken,
Right now Happy uses Jython 2.2.1. Jython 2.5 (compatible with Python
2.5) just entered beta, and I'll need to explore what changes need to
be made to get Happy running with that release, as apparently the code
has changed significantly. It sounds like things are cooling down on
their release cycle now, so it may be time to explore the upgrade.

We're using Happy internally at Metaweb with Hadoop 0.18. I'll tag a
release against 0.18 today if I can find time. I haven't compiled
Happy against Hadoop 0.19 yet, but I don't forsee any problems. At
Metaweb, we've been waiting for 0.19.1 to ship before upgrading.
