Welcome to the Data Structures, Algorithms and Programming Group.

Purpose:
It's purposed for researching new Data Structures, Algorithms, plus showing your awesome coding skills to convert your genius idea into the code level and let our loyal computer servant to work for you. More important a place to communicate and archive the activities we did. Hope good developers all over the world would join us.

Initiatives:
Initiative is I got failed in the Google Interview, which makes me realize how bad my algorithm is and how fun it is. Actually during the Interview Preparation, we did a couple of Algorithm Puzzles and when you actually solved the problems, the feeling is awesome. For some weeks, I stayed up really late to do these puzzles and compete with other guys to see who is gonna solve the puzzle faster and better. And later on, of course, we did a couple of puzzles, most of them from TopCoder, as we did more, I thought we need a place to discuss the issues, problems, algorithms etc. Since I am a loyal Google User, I found using Google Group maybe is a good start.

Latest updates:
12/10/2011 -- redo some algorithms from now.
31/08/2011 -- Create a topic to centralize good materials.
July 2011 -- Start to do weekly Algorithm.
July 2011 -- Organized all the old algorithms and put them into svn repo.
June 2011 -- Google Group established.

There are some rules applied in this Group.
1) Mainly we focused on DS, Algorithm and Programming. And I realized it would be boring to discuss this day after day. We can talk more widely in the technology like Apple Apps, Android Apps, Tablets, Mobile Phones, Ruby, Objective-C, Scala, Haskell plus plus. We can look into new technologies and share our new thoughts.

2) We use English to communicate here even though most of us are non-native english speakers. And wish more guys from all over the world would join us one day.

3) I will put weekly (Daily is too much, I don't have time to maintain this) Algorithm in the Group and every one can show your coding skills. And every code here is Open-Sourced, since I used so many Open Source Software and it's a little contribution in return. I will host the code in the Google Code for archive purpose.

(New Rule Added: 17/08/2011)
4) Normal users after posting, admin users need to moderate the post before it can be really seen in the Group. So one rule here is anyone could do one algorithm or continuously be very active in the Groups, I will upgrade your privilege to the level which can be freely post any posters here.

Seabook is the owner of the group. I will manage and update the group info .
Qu Huanwen with good coding skills (Code Master), will contribute into the code level and show us the beauty of coding. He is the manager of the Group.
Xiao Tao, good developer with passion is the manager of the Group as well to look after the whole group.
