hapi-fhir-cli to upload ICD-10 codes on JPA server

Hi James,

Using the hapi-fhir-cli I was able to upload Loinc but when I try ICD-10, it does not recognize the system:

./hapi-fhir-cli upload-terminology -d /apps/bkp/icdClaML2016ens.zip -f dstu3 -t http://hal-sboot-d03:8598/myserver -u http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/icd-10

I get the message below:

ca.uhn.fhir.rest.server.exceptions.InvalidRequestException: HTTP 400 : Unknown URL: http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/icd-10

Let me know if this is not the right url or the hapi client does not support loading icd-10 at the moment.

Hi Ravi,

This is correct, the HAPI terminology service native uploader currently only supports LOINC and SNOMED-CT. I haven't looked at the ICD-10 release files before, are they in RF2 or something else standard or do they have their own format?

If by chance you wanted to see how the existing loader works, this unit test is a good place to start: https://github.com/jamesagnew/hapi-fhir/blob/master/hapi-fhir-jpaserver-base/src/test/java/ca/uhn/fhir/jpa/term/TerminologyLoaderSvcTest.java

Thanks for the inputs, will check the unit test.

I downloaded ICD10 from https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Coding/ICD10/2018-ICD-10-CM-and-GEMs.html but I do not think they are in the required format.
