can you validate profiles if XML does not contain snapshot?

Hi

I'm wondering if HAPI-FHIR  can still validate resources when the structure definitions don't have snapshot information?

StructureDefinition http://hl7.org/fhir/ca/baseline/StructureDefinition/ext-aboriginalidentitygroup has no snapshot, and no snapshot generator is configured

It's weird that simplifier.net has an option to download all resources (at the project level) but doesn't give the option to include snapshot info..seems like it's only a menu option when downloading on a per item basis).

As long as you have SnapshotGeneratingValidationSupport in your validation support chain it shouldn't matter.. HAPI will generate the snapshot dynamically as needed.
