Performance improvement and HAPI FHIR

Dear Whom it may concern, 

 

I have question about HAPI  FHIR to improving performance. And kindly need you support.

 

Can we build up several Virtual Machines instead of storing and processing PHR on one FHIR server to allocate resources like Load Balancer in Cloud Computing to reduce traffic for data search, reduce load, and improve loading performance?
